Salted Caramel Pretzel Blondies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed pretzels
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
Flaky sea salt for topping

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add in eggs and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.
Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just incorporated.
Fold in crushed pretzels and chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and gently swirl with a knife.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Let cool before drizzling extra caramel and sprinkling flaky sea salt on top. Slice into bars and serve.
