Rfk Jr. Raises Health Concerns Over 5G, Says It May Affect Brain Function And Cancer Risk

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Raises Concerns About 5G and Brain Health

At a NewsNation Town Hall, RFK Jr. voiced strong concerns about 5G technology, warning that electromagnetic radiation (EMR) could weaken the blood-brain barrier and possibly increase cancer risk. He cited studies showing that exposure to 1.3 GHz microwaves in rats led to temporary openings in this barrier, allowing small molecules like D-mannitol to pass through. Some brain areas, such as those controlling breathing and hormone function, were more affected than others.

Although these effects lasted only about four hours and the rats recovered, Kennedy worries that constant exposure from daily 5G use could cause long-term issues in humans. He’s particularly alarmed by the pulsed nature of 5G waves, which seem to impact the brain more than continuous waves, according to the studies.

Kennedy acknowledges that rats aren’t humans and that these experiments don’t show direct cancer development. Still, he highlights the IARC’s “possibly carcinogenic” rating of EMR and calls for stricter regulations and more testing. While most health organizations say there’s no strong evidence linking 5G to cancer, Kennedy pushes for a precautionary approach, arguing that we shouldn’t wait for long-term damage to emerge before acting.

Simple measures like using speakerphones or keeping devices away from the body during sleep are reasonable steps for those concerned.
