41,000+ Fans, One Flag, Four Voices, Zac Brown Band’s National Anthem Performance at Truist Park Becomes an Instant Classic

Zac Brown Band Delivers Stirring National Anthem Performance at 2025 MLB All-Star Game

During a packed evening at Atlanta’s Truist Park, Zac Brown Band delivered a powerful rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” to open the 2025 MLB All-Star Game. With over 41,000 fans in attendance, the group stood centerfield in their hometown, delivering tight harmonies and patriotic energy that set the tone for the night.

Backed by a massive American flag in the shape of the United States stretched across the outfield, the group was joined by members of the U.S. Space Force and drummers from the U.S. Air Force Band, who presented the colors. The anthem performance, aired live on FOX, concluded with a dramatic flyover by the U.S. Air Force.

Earlier in the evening, fans were treated to more musical tributes: Kane Brown gave a soulful performance of Ray Charles’ “Georgia On My Mind,” while Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri amped up the crowd with “Welcome to Atlanta.” Canadian artist Lauren Spencer Smith performed “O Canada” on the field, honoring her country during the international showcase.

The night ended in dramatic fashion as the National League edged out the American League 4–3 in a tiebreaker swing-off, following a 6–6 tie through nine innings. Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber sealed the victory with three home runs on three swings, earning MVP honors.

Off the field, Zac Brown Band has big plans ahead. The group recently announced Love & Fear, their seventh studio album, set to release on December 5. The 13-track record will feature collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Dolly Parton, and Marcus King, and includes the already-released single “I Ain’t Worried About It.”

To celebrate the album, the band will launch a limited four-show residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas, running December 5, 6, 12, and 13.

“Bringing Love & Fear to Sphere is a dream come true,” Zac Brown shared. “It’s the most personal work I’ve done — a look into my life, imagination, and the stories that shaped me. We’re creating an experience where every note and lyric surrounds the audience. We can’t wait to share it.”

According to a press release, the immersive Vegas performance will explore Brown’s journey through heartbreak, resilience, and growth — offering fans a rare, intimate glimpse into his world as both artist and individual.
