Zach Top’s Girlfriend, Amelia Taylor, Speaks Out Against Online Hate: “I’m Human Too”
Amelia Taylor, the girlfriend of rising country star Zach Top, is breaking her silence after facing waves of online harassment, including death threats, suicide wishes, and assault threats from strangers on social media. In a heartfelt video posted to her TikTok, Taylor opened up about the emotional toll of being in a relationship with someone in the public eye.
“I think I learn something new about myself on here every day,” she said with quiet strength, addressing the rumors about her age, how she met Top, and unfounded accusations of infidelity. “I’m not 19. I’ve never been anyone’s mistress. I didn’t meet my boyfriend in high school.”
Taylor emphasized that being with someone famous doesn’t erase her humanity. Despite choosing to keep much of her private life away from the spotlight, the intensity of the hate compelled her to speak out.
“I don’t think my personal life needs to be made public,” she said, “but the threats I’ve received made me realize I needed to say something.”
She also clarified her now-viral TikTok criticizing signs held by fans at Top’s concerts, which she says were meant to empower women, not shame them. “I specifically meant the signs that are self-degrading to the beautiful girls holding them up,” she explained.
Ultimately, her message was one of grace and strength: “Disliking another human is fine. Differing opinions make the world go round. But the death threats and suicide wishes are not okay… Learn to love. It makes life a lot more enjoyable.”
