Resurfaced Report Reveals Chuck Schumer Received Significant Donations from Jeffrey Epstein

A recently surfaced report on the U.S. House of Representatives website indicates that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer received substantial donations from Jeffrey Epstein during the 1990s. This finding is corroborated by Federal Election Commission (FEC) records and was initially reported by the New York Post.

For context, in 2025, the U.S. House of Representatives made public a July 10, 2019, article from The New York Post on its official site, which highlighted troubling connections between Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Jeffrey Epstein, a notorious predator and financier. Notably, Sen. Schumer has often criticized President Trump for his associations with Epstein, while seemingly concealing his own.

The New York Post reported that Epstein made seven separate $1,000 donations to Sen. Schumer between 1992 and 1997. The Post clarified that these contributions were made to Schumer “first as a U.S. congressman from New York and then when he was campaigning to become the state’s senator in 1998, a race he ultimately won.”

Additionally, the Post noted that Epstein contributed $5,000 to Win New York, a joint committee identified as “Schumer-associated.” Furthermore, Nikki Schwab from the Post remarked, “Both of Epstein’s donations to the committees occurred in October 1998 — and appear to have primarily benefited the DSCC and the Liberal Party of New York, as Epstein would have already reached the $2,000 limit for individual donations to Schumer.”

Moreover, Sen. Schumer had previously urged Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta to resign due to Acosta’s management of Epstein’s sentencing. Sen. Schumer stated regarding Acosta, “If he refuses to resign, President Trump should fire him. Instead of prosecuting a predator and serial sex trafficker of children, Acosta chose to let him off. We cannot have as one of the leading appointed officials in America someone who has done this.

Furthermore, while Senator Schumer has often sought to associate President Trump with Jeffrey Epstein, the president recently made it clear that he “never went” to the notorious financier and predator’s island, stating this during a meeting on July 28, 2025, with UK leaders, including Prime Minister Keir Starmer. The president elaborated, “I never went to the island, but [former Treasury Secretary] Larry Summers, I hear, went there; he was the head of Harvard. And many other prominent individuals, yet nobody ever discusses them.”

Moreover, the president mentioned that he had received an invitation to the island, but he “did turn it down,” adding, “In one of my very good moments, I turned it down.” He further denied having sent a drawing to Epstein in a birthday card, stating, “I don’t do drawings. I’m not a drawing person. I don’t do drawings. Occasionally, people would ask, ‘Would you do a building?’ and I’ll sketch four lines and a little roof, you know, for a charity.”

The president also indicated that he was “allowed to give” a pardon to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s closest associate, stating, “Nobody’s approached me with it, nobody’s asked me about it. It’s in the news regarding that aspect. However, at this moment, it would be inappropriate to discuss it.”
