What was meant to be a joyful afternoon gathering turned into a terrifying encounter when a Komodo dragon suddenly appeared in a family’s backyard BBQ and attacked their pet dog.
The family, who had invited relatives and friends for a weekend cookout, were shocked when the massive reptile emerged from nearby brush. Witnesses say the Komodo dragon moved swiftly toward the family’s dog, latching onto it before anyone could react.
Panic erupted, but instead of fleeing, the family sprang into action. Armed with nothing more than BBQ utensils, chairs, and sheer courage, they rushed to defend their beloved pet. One family member used a large stick to push the reptile back, while others created loud noises to scare it away.
